Thanks for posting Patti! Not sure why some people can post and other can't. I've looked at my settings and they look OK. Glad you were able to post though. Thanks for sharing your surgery story. It is funny that they give all of us meds that will make you sick on an empty stomach but don't know why you aren't holding anything down. That needs to be put in the step one, step two journal they all read. Maybe they need it in writing to figure it out. LOLOL!

Wow, Leah, your story of surgery, pretty much mirrors mine... the little "chit chat" while waiting to be taken to the emergency room. I remember turning to someone and saying.."this isn't fun anymore,I want to go home!!!"... and the same hassle with the pain meds, My problem was they would give them to me, and I would puke them up!!! I hate puking more than I hate pain. I did get my pain med prescription filled, BUT haven't touched them!!!
A good lead into how we all try to "hide our pain" rather than live through it. And we all do try to "hide our pain" rather than allow Jesus to "carry our pain"....
